Workouts of the Week (WOW)

Below is a list of workouts that we have completed ourselves, in classes, or with our clients. It is our committment to help make Australia healthier so we've posted details about the workouts for you to try yourselves.

General Warm Up
 
20:1! Box Jumps: Russian Twist / OR Hanging Clean
 
10:1! Push Up: Chin Up
 
Cool Down, Stretch, Abs Optional
 
Special Instructions:  Set Box Jump height to one that is a challenge, but manageable for 20 sets.  There a lot of reps, so be prepared.  This is a mental challenge.  Set weights accordingly.  This Russian Twist variation involves standing with barbell weighted on one end, the other end wedged against wall; lift press to center line, twist and lower to one side and work the obliques; return to centre and lower to either side. 

Key: 20:1! : means perform 20 sets.  1 set = 20 of exercise one and 1 of exercise two; 2nd set = 19 of exercise one and 2 of exercise two; ... continue until you have performed 1 of exercise one and 20 of exercise two.
